At Greengate Academy, we believe that a consistent and modest uniform produces a sense of unity, discipline, and respect for Islamic traditions. Our uniform policy is as follows:
All male students must wear a plain white jubbah/thobe (a long outer garment with full sleeves) and a plain black hat (topi).
All female students must wear a plain black abaya (a loose overgarment) and a plain forest green hijab (headscarf) with a pin and a bonnet cap underneath to support the head covering.
We believe that a standardised uniform promotes a sense of discipline, and equality among students, reduces distractions and creates a conducive learning environment. We kindly request parents and guardians to ensure that their children adhere to the uniform policy at all times while attending Greengate Academy.
Exceptions to the uniform policy may be granted on individual cases only, taking into consideration their unique circumstances. Parents or Guardians seeking an exception must contact the academy administration in advance to discuss their request.
